이수경 작가는 윌링앤딜링에서 개인전 ‘Take me home country roads, 고향으로 데려다주오’를 개최한다. 이번 전시에서는 <순간이동 연습용 그림>, <번역된 도자기> 등 오랫동안 지속해 온 작가의 대표 작품들을 비롯하여 곤륜산의 전설을 담은 <곤륜산 크리스마스 트리>가 함께 설치된다. 작가는 전시장에서 연출되는 기묘한 풍경 속 ‘이상향’에 대한 수많은 오해를 드러낸다.
Leesookyung participates in the solo exhibition “Take me home country roads” at Space Willing N Dealing. This exhibition showcases Kunlun Mountains Christmas Tree that contains the legends of Kunlun Mountains as well as her signature body of works, such as Drawings for Practicing Teleport and Translated Vases series. The artist reveals countless misconceptions about “Utopia” within the bizarre landscape created in the exhibition space.
