이수경은 퍼시픽 아시아 박물관에서 주최하는 그룹전 <Reshaping Tradition: Contemporary Ceramics from East Asia> 에 참여한다. 이번 전시는 근대 도자기 공예의 발전이 이루어온 발자취를 조명하기 위해, 미술관의 영구 소장품 중 10점의 전근대적 도자기를 현대적 작품과 함께 전시할 예정이다. 번역된 도자기로 잘 알려진 이수경 작가는 이번 전시에서 그녀만의 고유한 도기와 청자의 파편을 활용한 Translated Vase 연작을 선보이며 본래적인 도자기의 상식에서 벗어난 위태로운 감각과 균형을 유기적이고 서정적인 관점으로 풀어낸다. 이번 전시는 2015년 9월11일부터 2016년 1월 31일까지 개최된다.

Yeesookyung participates in group exhibition "Reshaping Tradition: Contemporary Ceramics from East Asia" organized by USC Pacific Asia Museum. This exhibition will showcase 10 pre-modern ceramics from the museum's permanent collection, along with contemporary ones, to illuminate the recent developments made on contemporary ceramic art. Best known for her Translated Vases series, Yeesookyung examines Korean ceramics from both historical and contemporary perspectives. The exhibition is open from September 11th, 2015 to January 31st, 2016.
