이수경, 아뜰리에 에르메스에서 이수경 개인전 <믿음의 번식> 개최

이수경 작가는 아뜰리에 에르메스에서 9월 18일부터 12월 20일까지 개인전 <믿음의 번식>을 개최한다. 이번 전시에서는 토속신앙과 전생에 대한 지속적인 관심과 탐구를 작가만의 언어로 풀어낸 신작들이 다수 포함되어 있다. 참여 작품으로는 <흰 그늘 White Shadow> (2015), <전생 역행 그림 Past Life Regression Painting> (2015), <모두 잠든 All Asleep> (2015) 연작 등 영상, 회화 그리고 3D 프린터로 제작한 작품들은 작가의 관심사가 어떻게 꾸준히 변주해왔는지 살펴볼 수 있는 기회를 제공할 것이다.

Bringing painting, video and installation together, Yeesookyung presents a solo exhibition Saint Breeders at Atelier Hermès Seoul. It will be open from September 18^th to December 20^th. Works like White Shadow(2015), Past Life Regression Painting (2015), and All Asleep (2015) provide an opportunity to probe into how Yeesookyung’s exploration of time and space, past and present, and aspects of religion and the divine have evolved over time.
