박서보는 대전시립미술관에서 11월 13일부터 12월 13일까지 제12회 이동훈미술상 본상 수상작가 초대전을 갖는다. 한국 현대미술을 세계화시킨 주인공이자 단색화의 대가 박서보는 독자적인 작품세계를 구축하고 한국미술 발전에 공헌한 원로 작가에게 주어지는 이동훈 미술상 제 12회 본상 수상자로서, 오는 13일에 개최되는 제13회 이동훈미술상 시상식을 기념하여 개인전을 연다. 이 전시에는 작가가 90년대부터 2000년대 사이에 제작한 묘법(Écriture)시리즈 중 9점을 선보일 예정이다.

From November 13^th to December 13^th, for the 12^th Lee Dong Hoon Art Award recipient of the Main Award/Prize Park Seo-Bo will hold his invitational exhibition at the Daejeon Museum of Art. Upon receiving his award, Park Seo-Bo was recognized for structuring his own individual art practice, and for contributing to the development of Korean art as a key artist to globalize contemporary Korean art and a Dansaekhwa master. Park’s solo exhibition featuring nine of his Écriture series from 1990s to 2000s will open in celebration of the 13^th Lee Dong Hoon Art Award ceremony on November 13^th.
