국제갤러리 이수경은 3월 9일부터 6월 5일까지 프랑스 파리의 라 메종 루즈에서 열리는 기획전 <CERAMIX>에 참가한다. 2004년 아트 컬렉터인 앙뚜안 드 갈베르 (Antoine de Galbert)가 설립한 라 메종 루즈는 현대미술을 선보이는 프라이빗한 공간으로써 컬렉션 작품뿐만 아니라 다양한 작가들의 작품들을 소개하고 있다. 이번 전시는 19세기부터 20세기에 이르는 도자기 작품을 주제로 프랑스 세브르 도자기박물관 (Sèvres – Cité de la céramique)와 함께 기획되었으며 네덜란드의 마스트리흐트 예술박물관 (Bonnefantenmuseum)와 협력으로 개최된다. 도자기를 현대미술의 중앙으로 가져온 로댕과 피카소, 사회적, 정치적 비판 도구로 활용한 아이웨이웨이 등 25개국 100여명의 작가들의 다양한 도자 작품 250여점을 통해 시간에 따른 의미의 변천을 다룬다. 이수경의 작품으로는 <번역된 도자기>가 소개된다.

Yeesookyung will participate in the exhibition CERAMIX at La Maison Rouge in Paris, France from March 9 to July 5, 2016. La Maison Rouge is a private space built in 2004 by Antoine de Galbert, an art collector, for the purpose of displaying his collection and introducing the works of diverse artists. This exhibition was design in collaboration with the Cité de la céramique in Sèvres, France and the Bonnefantenmuseum in Masstricht, Netherlands. The exhibition focuses on the art of ceramics from the 19th and 20th century and the evolution of meaning through time. Featuring 250 ceramic works from 100 artists from 25 countries, including works by Rodin and Picasso, who brought ceramics to the center of contemporary art, and Ai Weiwei who uses art as a tool to critique politics. Yeesookyung presents her series Translated Vase in the exhibition.
