국제갤러리 양혜규의 작품이 4월 19일부터 5월 21일까지 독일 베를린에 위치한 갤러리 노이거림슈나이더(Galerie Neugerriemschneider) 전시공간에서 개최되는 그룹전 에 출품된다. 독일의 현대미술가 토비아스 레베르거(Tobias Rehberger)가 기획하는 이번 전시는 지난 21년간 레베르거의 작업에 영향을 준 국제적인 60명의 아티스트들의 작품들이 전시될 예정이다. 아이웨이웨이, 안드레아스 거스키 등 미술가뿐만 아니라 건축가, 디자이너, 음악가 등 예술 전반에서 활동하는 예술가들을 소환하며, 레베르거의 친구이자 동료, 멘토인 이들의 작품은 예술가의 창작은 우연적이고 상호적인 아이디어의 결과물임을 증명한다. 양혜규는 신작인 <중간 유형 – 달리는 폭죽 The Intermediate – Running Firecracker>을 선보인다.

Haegue Yang participates in the group exhibition Presently at Galerie Neugerriemschneider in Berlin, Germany, from April 19 to May 21, 2016. Curated by German contemporary artist Tobias Rehberger, the exhibition presents artworks from sixty international artists who have influenced Rehberger in the past twenty-one years. By inviting artists such as Ai Weiwei and Andreas Gursky, and architects, designers, musicians, and other art professionals active in the art scene, the artworks of these friends, colleagues, and mentors demonstrate that creativity is a result of ideas, interactions, and coincidences. Haegue Yang presents her latest work The Intermediate-Running Firecracker.
