양혜규는 파리 퐁피두센터에서 7월 5일부터 9월 5일까지 《좀처럼 가시지 않는 누스》 개인전을 개최한다. 다양한 매체를 탐구해 온 양혜규는 퐁피두 센터의 기념비적인 건축물과 상호작용하는 새로운 설치작 <좀처럼 가시지 않는 누스>를 선보인다. 일상적인 사물들의 형태와 정서적인 지점들을 탐구하며, 사물들을 추상적인 구성으로 재배열하면서 본래의 맥락으로부터 탈피시키는 양혜규만의 작품세계를 본격적으로 프랑스 미술계에 소개하는 기회가 될 것이다.

Haegue Yang holds her much-anticipated solo exhibition Lingering Nous at the Centre Pompidou, Paris, from July 5 to September 5, 2016. Yang, who has done extensive research with various mediums, presents Lingering Nous, a blind installation that interacts with the monumental building of Centre Pompidou. The exhibition will be an opportunity to introduce Yang’s artistic world, which breaks the original context by blending the shape of everyday objects and sentimentalities by putting them into an abstraction form, to the French art scene.
