국제갤러리의 김수자는 국립현대미술관 현대차 시리즈의 세 번째 작가로 선정되어 ‘국립현대미술관 현대차 시리즈 2016: 김수자-마음의 기하학’전을 2016년 7월 27일부터 2017년 2월 5일까지 서울관에서 개최한다. 이번 전시에서 김수자는 주요한 수행적 설치작품(performative installation)인 <마음의 기하학>을 대중에게 처음으로 공개한다. 뿐만 아니라 새로운 조각 설치작품인 <연역적 오브제>, 현재까지 지속되고 있는 <실의 궤적> 시리즈의 새로운 다섯 번째 챕터를 비롯한 김수자의 최근 작품들이 소개된다.

Kimsooja holds the solo exhibition MMCA Hyundai Motor Series 2016: Kimsooja - Archive of Mind at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) Seoul, from July 27, 2016 to February 5, 2017. Selected as the third artist for the MMCA Hyundai Motor Series, Kimsooja presents for the first time to the public a major performative installation Archive of Mind. A new sculpture installation Deductive Object, and a new and fifth chapter of Kimsooja’s ongoing film series Thread Routes are on view.
