빌 비올라는 11월 29일부터 12월 4일까지 윈우드 예술 지구의 마나 캠퍼스에서 열리는 마이애미 아트 위크의 프로그램 Mana Common에 참여한다. 올해로 제 3회를 맞이하는 Mana Common은 라틴 아메리카 아트 페어 <핀타>와 협업으로 진행되며, 예술과 과학의 크로스오버를 주제로 예술이 의학, 기술, 과학 분야에서의 혁신에 큰 비중을 차지하는 점에 초점을 맞췄다. 11월 29일 라이브 이벤트 <Viola Meets Mozart>는 파블로 미엘고의 지휘, 바이올리니스트 줄리안 라클린의 협연의 모차르트의 바이올린 협주곡 제5번 연주에 맞춰 Jesus Pastor 무용과 함께 빌 비올라의 <도치된 탄생>이 상영된다.
Bill Viola will participate in Mana Common, a Miami Art Week program event, held at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center. Miami Art Week program will be held from November 29 to December 4. This year is the third edition of Mana Common, and it will be a joint effort with the Latin American art fair, Pinta Miami. Mana Common centers on the theme of the crossover between art and science, focusing especially on the major role of the arts in medical, technological, and scientific fields. This live event Viola Meets Mozart, which will take place on November 29, will feature Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.5 conducted by Pablo Mielgo, with violinist Julian Rachlin. Viola’s Inverted Birth will be screened, accompanied by dancer Jesus Pastor’s performance.
