11월 11일부터 12월 3일까지 뉴욕의 티나 킴 갤러리에서 개인전 <Écriture, Black and White>을 전시 중인 박서보는 전시와 연계한 아티스트 토크를 개최한다. 11월 12일 오전 11시부터 12시 정오까지 진행되는 이번 프로그램은 스미소니언 미술관 산하의 허쉬혼미술관 관장을 맡고 있는 멜리사 추가 함께 참여하여 단색화 태동부터 이번 개인전에서 선보인 박서보의 1990년대부터 2000년대까지 작품 세계관에 대해 다룬다.
Park Seo-Bo, who will be exhibited in Tina Kim Gallery’s Écriture, Black and White solo exhibition from November 11 to December 3 in New York, will participate in a collateral artist talk program on November 12 from 11AM to noon. In conversation with Melissa Chiu, the Director of the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the program will cover Park’s artistic practice from the initiation of Dansaekhwa to his works currently on view, which date from the 1990s to the early 2000s.
